About:
Dr. Weedn was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the Weedn Hospital. He grew up on a farm outside Cyril, Oklahoma, where he attended school. During his school days he participated in basketball, baseball, and track. He graduated as valedictorian of his senior class.
Education:
After leaving Cyril, Dr. Weedn attended the University of Oklahoma, receiving a BS Degree in Mathematics. He then attended OU Medical School. After graduation he completed his residency at the University of Minnesota in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been happily married to his wife Kathy for almost 39 years, and they are blessed with two children, three grandchildren, and one on the way.
Professional Experience:
Before becoming an OBGYN in Lawton, Dr. Weedn had a practice since in Chickasha, Oklahoma. In 2006 he moved his practice to Lawton, joining the MMG OB-Gyn Clinic and delivering at Comanche County Memorial Hospital next door to the clinic. During his professional career he has performed over 6,600 deliveries, including more than 1,100 c-sections and the delivery of 81 sets of twins.
